Windows 8 is Microsoft's latest operating system which is completely redesigned. It is an awesome software that Microsoft release, it has a lot of application. Windows 8 is so nice to install in such tablet, but it can also install in some PC's and laptop's. Windows 8 moves away from the traditional interface to a completely new interface known as Metro User Interface. The familiar start menu is now gone. Icons and windows are replaced with live tiles and magazine styled interface. Unlike any previous versions, Windows 8 and its variation RT works across multiple architectures and has been optimized for touch screen.
And now I make this article to demonstrate step by step the proper installation of Windows 8. Just follow all the guide that I given. It is very simple. But first of all before upgrading to Windows 8, as I read in the official Microsoft site they recommend that you will first run the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant. It scan your PC to know if it is compatible with Windows 8.
System Requirement for Windows 8
1 GHz processor or faster with support for PAE, NX, and SSE2
2 GB RAM / 20 GB available hard disk space
1366 × 768 screen resolution
DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM driver
Note: To use touch, you need a tablet or a monitor that supports multitouch .
And now the best way to install Windows 8 is to do clean install. You better ask, what is clean install and how to perform it?
Ok, Clean install to do reformatting your hard drive and re-partition it, and how to perform it? Here is the step by step on how to do that.
Note: You must have Windows 8 installer of course and DVD-Rom.
Guide 1 - Insert the Windows 8 installer into your DVD-Rom, then restart your computer. After that you will see this picture below in your PC's screen.

Guide 2 - Then you will see a screen that allows you to setup your language, time and currency format, keyboard or input method. Choose your required settings and click next to continue. Then click next to continue and you will see this screen that allows you to install or repair Windows 8. Since we are doing a clean install we will click on "install now". And the setup process starts
Guide 3 - At this stage you need to type your product key that came with your copy of Windows 8. Click next once you have entered the product key correctly.
Guide 4 - After that it show like the image below, Read the license terms and tick I accept license terms. Then click next to continue.
Guide 5 - Choose the type of installation you want. Since you are doing a clean install you need to click on custom.
Guide 6 - Choose where drive you would like to install Windows 8. If you have one hard drive you will get an option similar to the image below. If you want to partition an existing drive then click new. Choose the size of the partition and click apply. Click OK to create the partition. Windows will create additional system partition. After the Partition has done select the partition where you want to install the Windows 8. Then click continue.
Guide 7 - Then you will see this image as shown below, at this stage the Windows was start copying the files into your hard drive and begins the installation. This process might take a few minutes depending on your computer specification. When all the necessary files are copied Windows 8 will automatically restart.
Guide 8 - You are now presented with "Let's go through a few basics" screen. It will automatically select personalize option. Choose your PC name and personalize the color. Then click next.
Guide 9 - Then you will see this image as shown below. Here you can choose express settings or choose customize. Just follow all the instruction of Windows 8 and you will be there.
As Windows 8 setup progresses you are given a presentation of the new interface. Its shows you how swiping the edge of the screen brings up the Charm bar. Using the Charm bar you can do a search or change your settings. It also demonstrates how you can hover your mouse on the bottom or top left corner to access the switch list. This list shows all open applications and allows you to switch between them. Soon as the demonstration finishes windows moves into the final stages of the setup.
Guide 10 - Finally the setup process is finished and you are presented with a completely new and unfamiliar Metro user interface. You have your most common application right in front of you. Clicking on any tiles will launch that application. At this point you can start using your computer. However, it may not be fully configured. You need to make sure that all the hardware is detected correctly and the necessary device drivers are installed. This can be done from the device manager.
To go to device manager click search on charm bar on the right. Then type devmgmt.msc. Click on the devmgmt icon on the left.
Guide 11 - You will see all your hardware listed as shown on the image below. You need to check if you have any yellow exclamation marks next to the name of the devices, similar to "Base System Device" on the image below. This indicates that the driver has not been installed for this device.
At this stage you can install the driver for this device. To do so, Right Mouse click on Base System Device -> Update Driver Software
